About the Center for Economic Development Education

The Center for Economic Development Education (CEDE) at the UALR Institute for Economic Advancement (IEA) offers training, planning, technical assistance and development services to economic development organizations and community leaders.  Our products and programming are applied and address real-world economic development issues with solutions at the community and regional level.

Training supports career development programming already available for professionals in economic development and prepares volunteer leaders and local elected officials for their participation in their communities' economic development programs.

The Center’s technical assistance offerings provide communities with the critical information and analysis they require to make economic development decisions as local leaders move their communities forward.
